The new iClicker Cloud solution is now available at no cost for all faculties and students. iClicker Cloud replaces the former iClicker Classic solution and offers new opportunities to promote student engagement.
iClicker Cloud is a solution used to poll students and receive feedback in real-time. The solution provides students with the opportunity to respond quickly to a variety of question types (including multiple-choice, short answer, numeric, and target questions) using their mobile device or laptops. Through an integration with UM Learn, instructors can quickly transfer grades from iClicker Cloud to the UM Learn gradebook.
The use of iClicker in the classroom offer several benefits:
- Gives each student a voice and provides opportunities for in-class discussions.
- Maintain student focus on the topic-at-hand.
- Identifies student misconceptions so the instructor can give immediate feedback.
